Our Erasmus exchange in Sakarya was an amazing adventure. We have tought a lot of things, not only related to classes in University. We have had culture shock many times, but in a positive way. People there were full of love, kind and always ready to help. It was a nice surprise for us and we won't forget it. Our buddies and all Erasmus cooperators have never let us face our problems alone. After classes we were walking and admiring nature - there is a lake and many walking paths near the University. Turkey is famous for its food - we have never been bored with the variety of meals and its flavors. We were spending a lot of time exploring historical places we had known from primary's books. We are really glad for this opportunity and grateful for this time. We miss the people, the food, the weather and places we have been to. Hope so to visit Turkey again soon.

Erasmus sayesinde Polonya’da öğrenim ve Rusya’da staj hareketliliğine katılma şansına eriştim, bu deneyimlerim kişisel gelişimime ve yabancı dil bilgime çok katkıda bulundu, 11 ülke, onlarca şehir gezme fırsatı buldum, dünyanın her yerinden arkadaşlar edindim, edindiğim tecrübeleri hayatımın ilerleyen yıllarında kullanacağımdan eminim.

Since I first heard about the Erasmus+ program, I had always been intrigued about the semester exchange program in Europe. Living in a different place with different people with a different language has always excited my imagination and that is why I applied for the Erasmus program and selected Lomza University in Poland. I had an amazing Erasmus experience, the university I went to was welcoming and helped me a lot to settle in. Not only did the Polish students help me with the system but also made sure that I was comfortable in all aspects. Going to Europe gave me a new perspective of how things work in other countries and broadened my, the exposure to multicultural society truly helped me become a better-educated person. I do believe university is not only about studying and being good academically but also about improving in other aspects and Erasmus provided me this opportunity. Overall, I am a very confident person now as going to Poland was something out of my comfort zone, therefore it has helped in ways that are inexpressible in words. I would strongly recommend everyone to avail this opportunity.

I have had an amazing time in Sakarya University as Erasmus+ student. The city is very nice and calm however it is also very close to Ankara and Istanbul which can be visited any weekend. Everyone in the university is extremely nice and helpful, the campus is very big and offers beautiful views and the whole studying experience was a delight! I have enjoyed my experience here greatly and I would recommend it to anyone looking to experience Turkish culture and have a great time here!
